Selma Blair voices Eva Hesse
As we move through post-production the audio for the film is now our focus. This week we spent time in a beautiful recording studio working with the actress Selma Blair who is voicing Eva's words.
The narration for the film has been developed directly from Hesse's writings and interviews as well as those of her father William and good friend Sol LeWitt. Although LeWitt appears in the film through archival footage, we also have the actor Patrick Kennedy reading from his letters and Bob Balaban voices Eva's father Willem. Below Blair reads a selection where Hesse describes her work process.
